Tekton Trades is a one-man shop. Jake handles every project personally — from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. Here’s what that process looks like.

You reach out, we establish communication, and Jake begins gathering information to start your estimate.

Rough Estimate
End of inquiry
A ballpark figure before the site visit. Intentionally conservative — real scope follows after we see the space.

Site Visit
Scheduled after rough estimate
Jake visits, takes measurements, walks through decisions with you, and establishes full project scope.

Polished Estimate
Within 1 week of site visit
A detailed, accurate estimate reflecting real scope. Materials, labor, and all specifics accounted for.

Final Requests
1–2 weeks
Options are explored, pricing refined, and final decisions made. This is where the project takes its final shape.

Contract & Quote
~1 week
The quote document accompanies your contract as an enclosure — full scope, Tekton's terms, and your complete payment schedule.

Scheduling Deposit
10% down
Secures your place in Jake's queue. Work begins planning your lead time.

Lead Time
2–8 weeks
Jake clears current jobs ahead of yours. Materials are planned and sourced.

Materials Deposit
2–3 weeks from install
Materials are ordered and fabrication begins. Your project is actively in production.

Installation
2–5 days on site
Jake and crew are on site. Duration depends on project size and home access.

Substantial Completion
Major work complete
Third payment due when primary scope is complete, before final punch list items.

Final Walkthrough
Last install day
Jake walks through every detail with you. Final 10% due. Warranty items noted and scheduled.
